We need to get better about updating this blog. We really have no excuse except that we have been busy. Busy doing normal things like going to school, homework, dancing, school and more homework and even more dancing. I love when our life is normal, I love when we can forget (not really) that Ashley has a life threatening liver disease. I love when we worry about other things unrelated to her liver disease. Ashley is at a point in her life where she hates school. She loves some parts of it, her friends, language arts, her dance class, and lunch. She has always had to struggle to keep her grades at A's and B's. This year, her 8th grade year, we are seeing her grades drop especially in Algebra and Spanish. Of course, those two class are high school classes so I guess we should be proud that she maintains a C average in those classes. Ashley has biliary atresia, a chronic life threatening liver disease. Her disease has no cure, and her only hope for a long life is a transplant. We are trying to raise money for her liver transplant and other medical needs. Because her disease is unpredictable, her medical needs are unpredictable. It is because of this and the fact that we are unable to get life insurance for Ashley that we ask for donations. If you feel it in your heart to donate to Ashley's fund, we will be grateful.
